ESP32 CYD Ham Dashboard Flasher

Select the board that matches yours, then connect USB and flash. The display driver is built into each firmware, so the wrong choice will flash successfully but leave the screen blank or garbled.

ILI9341 (default) Most Sunton "Cheap Yellow Display" (CYD) boards, including the common ESP32-2432S028R, use the ILI9341 controller. Start here unless you know your board uses a different panel. ST7789 Some CYD board revisions and other small ESP32 display modules ship with an ST7789 panel instead. If the ILI9341 build flashes but the screen stays blank, shows garbled colours, or is mirrored/inverted, try this option. ST7796S — 4.0" board For the larger 4.0" CYD with a 480x320 ST7796S panel, rather than a 320x240 2.8" board. This build lays the pages out for the bigger screen: larger text on the propagation, VHF and map pages, and twelve DX/POTA spots instead of eight. Pick one of the options above if your display is the 2.8" size.

The installer asks whether to erase the device first. Leave Erase device unticked to keep your callsign, locator, Wi-Fi details and other settings when upgrading. Tick it for a first-time install, or to start again from a clean slate.
